WPI Statement on Circulating Facebook Post on the Difference of S26 and Bonna

We take this opportunity to confirm and explain the difference between our products S-26 and BONNA as currently circulating on Facebook.

At Wyeth Nutrition, we strongly uphold the superiority of breastmilk. If for one reason or another breastfeeding is not possible, we offer breastmilk substitutes that comply strictly with manufacturing and stringent regulatory standards.

We confirm that the key difference between the two products are Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Arachidonic Acid (AA) found in S-26. These nutrients are crucial in optimizing brain development during the unique and critical window of 0 to 6 months of age. BONNA, on the other hand, contains the essential fatty acids Linolenic Acid (LNA) and Linoleic Acid (LA) that are precursors to DHA and AA.

We provide our consumers with a complete range of high quality products, each formulated with its unique ingredients, to suit their preference for their children. These ingredients, among other things, account for difference in pricing as most may have noted.

We sincerely thank you for trusting our brands in the crucial stage of development of your children. For more information about your child’s nutrition, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider or pediatrician.
